Glenn Herburt Maples. Jr., age 81 of Royal Oak, passed away November 27, 2011. He was born March 16, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved husband of Lillian “Ruby” (nee Thacker). Loving father of Thomas, Timothy, and the late Theodore. Proud grandfather of Eric, and great-grandfather of Kylie and Jade. He was retired from G.M.A.C. Financial. Visitation Thursday, 12-1-11, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, V.F.W. service at 7:00 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. The funeral will be Friday at the Royal Oak Missionary Church, 411 E. 11 Mile Road, Royal Oak, Michigan, visitation at 11:00 am service. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan
