Gertrude Burkle's Obituary
Gertrude Burkle, age 93, a longtime resident of Madison Heights, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was born April 25, 1916, in Twin Brooks, South Dakota. Surviving are her dear children, Frances (Alva) Taylor, Charles William (Sharon) Burkle and William Henry (Anita) Burkle; her grandchildren whom she adored, Trudy (Robert) Naimy, Timothy Taylor, Kimberly (James) Hall, Laura Burkle, Tracey (John) Belyea, William Jr. (Veronica) Burkle, and great grandchildren, Taylor Belyea, Michael Belyea; Kristopher Lixey, Megan Naimy, Robert Naimy, Timothy Brian Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Bradley Taylor; great great grandchildren Tanner Naimy, Joseph Beardsley, and her loving sister Rose Cole. She was preceded in death by husbands Charles William Burkle and Herbert Lapp. Visitation will be Thursday 3-9 PM, with Funeral Service Friday 1:30 PM, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Burial will take place in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
