Gerald “Jerry” Frederick Wurmlinger, age 81, of Warren, Michigan passed away on September 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 20, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Frederick and Almina Wurmlinger.
Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Emily. Father of Katherine (Steve), Jerry (Julie), and Mike (Linda). Grandfather of Audrie (Matt), Connie (Nick), Dale, and Alan. Great-Grandfather of Owen, Lincoln, and Lydia. Co-worker and best friend of Ron Ruzza.
He was known for his love of music and fishing. He also enjoyed watching baseball, football and had a collection of baseball caps.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21st from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Southfield Michigan.
