Gerald "Jerry" Hurt's Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” Hurt, age 81, a lifelong resident of Hazel Park, passed on, November 30, 2016. He was born in Detroit on September 12, 1935.
Beloved husband of 60 years, to Mildred (Woody) and loving father of Robert Bishop, Deborah (Ron) Allen, Scott (Ruth) Hurt and the Late Brian Keith Hurt. Grandfather of: Samantha Kilgore, Robert Jr and Amanda Bishop, Misty Townley, David, Christopher and Alexander Hurt. 13 Great Grandchildren and siblings Roger (Kim) Hurt, Diane Fletcher, Sharon Hurt, Barbara Hurt, Dolly Hurt and the Late James and Robert Hurt.
He was a member of The International Painters Union.
A memorial Service will be held in the Spring of 2017.
