Frances Hartley
I'm writing this on Mom's behalf since she's currently recuperating from surgery. Mom moved across the street from Mr. & Mrs. Haley with Dad in June of l947. A young mother, she soon met and loved Mrs. & Mr. Haley and their sons; Bobby, Jerry, and Danny. Over the years mom proved to be the perfect neighbor, friend, and truly supportive person during their tough times, especially when Mrs. Haley passed away, and later visiting dear Danny in the hospital right up to the end. Mom was there hugging Bobby and Jerry and the rest of the family. I know she sends her love and deepest sympathies to Pat and the rest of the family. During many, many conversations over the years, she's related so many wonderful memories of all of them. I'm pretty sure Mom would be at the top of the list of people who have known and loved them the longest. Sadly, the old neighborhood is no more, but those who were there will forever be in her heart.
