George Dale Hixson, Sr. age 84 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on February 2, 2017 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was born on January 24, 1933 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Beloved Husband of Frances Hixson. Loving Father of George Jr. (Diane), Eric, Denise (David Jr.) Hubbard, Patti (Brad) Lindamood and Mike (Patti). Beloved Grandfather of Crystal, Billy, Eric, Nicole, Travis, David III, Amy, Tiffiny, Kristin, Nicolas, Daniel, Brittany, Valerie, Kelly, Hailee and Michael. Great-Grandfather of Kevin, Blake, Hunter, Isabella, Mason, Corbyn, Wyatt, Paisley, Travis Jr., Jazzmyn, Alyssa, Lucas, Jase, Brooklyn, Brielle, Alexander, Elizabeth, Jade, Jack and Carson. He is survived by his sister Benita Jeffries and is pre-deceased by 8 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 6th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan.
