I had the pleasure of meeting Fred when my daughter first left home and bought her own house in Ferndale. Even more than the helpful things Fred did for her, like snow-blowing or putting garbage cans back in the yard, I was grateful that he was looking out for her and the neighborhood. Truly caring neighbors like him are a real blessing! Fred will be missed by many.
