Frank “Westside Frank” Dopke, age 100 of Madison Heights for 50 years passed away on November 29, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 28, 1915 in Detroit, Michigan.
Husband of Rosemary Dopke. Father of Paula (Dennis) Duvall and the late Patti Lyn Korbie. Grandfather of Brittany (Josh) Halpin, Tori Duvall, Dennis (Karen) Duvall, Tammy Duvall, Helen Maggard, Frank (Elaine) Kelly, the Late Robbie Kelly, Shannon and Pandora. Great-Grandfather of Maxwell, Madelyn, Shane, Jamie, Roger and Molly, Katherine and Erica. Brother of Irene Cimino and many Nieces and Nephews.
Westside Frank worked at Borden Creamery for 51 years. He was an active member of St. Jerome Parish, Detroit, Michigan which later became St. Lucy Parish, Troy, Michigan.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, December 3rd from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Funeral to be held on Friday, December 4th beginning with 10:30 am Instate followed by the 11:00 am Mass at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 200 E. Wattles Road, Troy, Michigan. Entombment to take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
