Florence Wood's Obituary
Florence (Engelsmen) Wood, age 90, passed away March 23, 2013 at her home in Hazel Park, MI.
Survived by her husband Ronald Wood of 71 years. Loving mother of Linda (Tom) Adams and the late Judy Topolsky. Grandmother of Amy (Charles) Morgan, Christine Topolsky and Woody (Heather) Saunders.Great Grandmother of Harrison,Vivienne and Julian Saunders. Dear sister of Eleanor Hunt.
Florence retired from William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak as a purchasing buyer in 1985 after 30 years of service.
She enjoyed time with family for 17 years in Howell on Lake Chemung as well as a vacation home in Bradenton, Florida.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 3pm to 9pm and a Service, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11am at HOPCROFT FUNERAL HOME, 23919 John R, Hazel Park, MI 48030. Burial will follow at Oakview cemetery in Royal Oak, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beaumont Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Association.
