Exzaida Cocadiz Lapastora's Obituary
Exzaida (Zaida) was a loving and kind soul. She was an incredibly selfless and powerful woman to have raised five children and to have done so in a new country and culture.
She had an angelic soprano singing voice and an infectious laugh. She loved listening, playing, and dancing to music. She also was a great cook. Her recipes will live on in her family. She was a creative person; knitting, sewing, and crocheting in her spare time creating beautiful work to cherish from generation to generation.
Married to her sweetheart for 56 years, she just loved and adored our dad, Gerry. Lots of memories shared and made with him and the whole family. Family was her focus. Having family and friends around brought her so much joy. Her home was a home to gather in and all was invited.
She was loved and adored by many. She impacted so many lives and are richer because of her unconditional love. Her legacy will live on for many generations. We will miss her—but we wait in eager anticipation to be reunited again in heaven. Today and everyday we honor your relentless commitment to simply love. Wish we can hear your laughter and see your infectious smile just one more time.
We love you Momma/Lola.
