Uncle Ernest embodied laughter, smiles and good times. Childhood memories are filled with Uncle Ernest: ironing leaves between wax paper running down sand dunes chasing chickens driving the motor home What a wonderful man he was: compassionate loving father and grandfather. Oh how much we love and respect Uncle Ernest. What a wonderful star he was in this life, this world, this place we call earth.
Naturally, I am not going to SAY (Biddie)
ALL the years ( I woke up on 13 Mile Road...from HEARING YOUR DAD'S LAUGHTER ) at our kitchen table - each Saturday and Sunday morning !
WOW - it seems like 15-18 years ago, all of us going CAMPING, etc.
Well, I just bought a small condo in Fountain Hills, AZ (google and read -- LARGEST fountain in world) I see from my Condo windows.
HERE: with 80% of SNOW-BIRDS being in their 70's, 80's and 90's ...I still feel YOUNG :-)
MY MOTHER had the 'funeral progression' DRIVE BY our 13 Mile Home on the way to the Cemetery.
Y O U may want to do that, as both your parents 'LIVED' at our home, each weekend.
REMEMBER all the good-times WE all had together, since childhoood
I AM SMILING now, just thinking about your dear FATHER & his LAUGHTER.
NOW, that is the way to 'wake up' instead of being bolted by an alarm clock going off - RIGHT :-)
My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.
In God's Abiding Love and Spirit:
REMUS & KATHERINE MILLER youngest daughter - Rebecca Miller
p.s. I am still 'surprised' that --alot of people that came to our family home, did NOT KNOW my 'real name ?'
Trust me: Being called "Biddie" at my age, is not fun.
MEMORIES both of our families had (especially in our childhood days) will last forever.
NOW: Your Dad is with your Mom in HEAVEN, and find 'peace' in that !
Plus, I remember your Mom's brother (Howard) coming over to 13 Mile Road - alot.
God bless you & yours:
REBECCA MILLER in Arizona :-)
Very sorry for your loss, but happy that his suffering is over. Kay and I hope to see you all on Monday.
Love, Ron and Kay
