My deepest sympathies are with Eric's family at this time. I grew up on Electra and went to grade, middle and high school with Eric (we were in the same grade). All of us children on Electra played together, my sisters, Robin (Kevin's age) and Tara. I remember camping out in the Ferrel's backyard, and Eric, Kevin and other boys were camping next door. Eric and the boys would scare us all night long and then they would laugh for hours. Eric was a sweet guy and a good person, we had a lot of classes at Santilli elementary together. Eric, myself and a few others would carry on in class, laughing, joking, just silly kid stuff. We were always being told to be quiet or else get the infamous write a hundred times punishment (and we did a few times). To the family, should you need anything, please ask, I would gladly help in anyway I can. I really want the family to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. It is never easy to lose a loved one, especially someone so young. I have such good childhood memories of Eric and I am grateful and honored to have known him. Just know that there are good memories of him and keep these close to your heart. My deepest condolences to all family, friends and loved ones. Shelly Latshaw
