Ellen Gail Irene Everett's Obituary
Ellen Gail Irene (Knight) Everett, age 77, passed away peacefully at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born on January 11, 1949, in London, Ontario and later made her home in Royal Oak.
Ellen was an administrative assistant by trade and a college graduate who took great pride in her work. She was a proud descendant of the renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns, a heritage she cherished deeply.
Ellen found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and caring for those she loved.
She was devoted to the love of her life Tom Harris. She is survived by her son Jason (wife Christine Payne-Everett, and their children Connor, Hannah, and Olivia) and her daughter Jill Carney (and her children Brendan and Kayla).
Ellen is reunited in heaven with her Lord and Savior and with her beloved parents, Ken and Betty Knight. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the faith she held so dear and in the many cherished memories she leaves behind.
Her legacy of love, devotion, and grace will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27th from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm with the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
