Elizabeth Whitekus' Obituary
Elizabeth M. Whitekus, age 90, of Madison Heights, passed away on October 14, 2010. She was born January 13, 1920 in Filion, Michigan, on the family farm. She was a charter member, and very active in St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights. She was also active in the Madison District Schools both as an employee and an involved parent. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (1998). Loving mother of Yvonne , John, Elizabeth, Justin, Linda , Julian, Jody, and Lori. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, sister Dolores, and brother Peter. Visitation Sunday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, scripture at 7 pm, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. The funeral will be held Monday at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, with visitation starting at 9:30 am and continuing until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial will take place Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bad Axe, Michigan.
