Elizabeth Rose Owens, age 81 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away July 4, 2015 at her home. She was born February 21, 1934 in England.
Beloved Wife of the late Hascal Owens. Dear Mother of Alicia Owens (Larry Brockton), Steve (Mary) Owens, Teresa (Thomas) Cornea, Denine (William) Bigger, Gary (June) Owens, Brenda Sue Berry-Jones and the late Anthony R. Owens and John W. Owens. Dearest Nanny of 16 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren. Dear Sister of Ken Flowers and Wendy (John) Haley.
She retired from the Ford Motor Company Utica Trim Plant in 2000 after 30 years. She was an amazing mother. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to knit, play Bunco, shopping and HER Detroit Tigers.
Visitation Tuesday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home. Burial White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
