Elizabeth Jane Jones, age 91, passed away on July 18, 2016 at Autumn Woods Nursing Center, Warren, Michigan. She was born on February 13, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan.
Dear Mother of Cathleen (the late Norman) Narodzonek and Candace (Raymond) Berndt. Grandmother of Nick Berndt and Stacey (Jason) Guerrero. Great Grandmother of Charlie and Eliza.
In Elizabeth’s younger days, she bowled on leagues. She loved her mornings with a crossword puzzle and coffee. She also loved playing cards, Bingo and going shopping. Elizabeth worked full time until the age of 78 with 40 of those years in the office supply industry.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 25th beginning at 10:30 am with Instate/Visitation followed by the 11:00 am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
