Elaine Marie DeLisle, age 56 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on September 11, 2024 at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, Michigan. She was born on July 2, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Wife of Curt DeLisle. They were married on August 11, 1990 in Warren, Michigan. Dear Mother of Abigail DeLisle. Daughter of Barbara Gower and predeceased by her father, George Brukwinski and stepfather, George W. Gower. Sister of Amy Donley and Becky (Marc) Bailie. Sister-in-law of Debbie (Don) Kuskowski and Kevin (Cheryl) DeLisle. Aunt of Brooke, Katie, Jacob, Taylor, Caleb and Mychala plus 14 great nieces and great nephews. Many dear cousins and dear friends that were all very special to her.
Elaine was lovingly referred to as Auntie Honey. She was known to take in all of her daughter's friends as if they were her own children. She loved music, especially Elvis. She loved dancing and roller skating. Elaine also enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting trinkets. She was always the one behind the camera and loved doing crafts. Elaine had a huge love for butterflies, and long Polish goodbyes. Elaine was a very devoted mother and wife and she prided herself in being a homemaker. She was so very excited to be a grandma. She loved and enjoyed the times with all of her family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15th from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
