Edward Sleziak's Obituary
Edward Martin Sleziak died April 12, 2013. He was born in Detroit, MI, August 4, 1929. He moved to Bradenton, FL in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Provence, three children Edward, Steven and Beverly, and three step-children. Ellen, David and Bethanne, along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked 32 years for General Motors Corporation. He was a life member of Masonic Lodge #570, Hazel Park, MI; a member of the Royal Arch Masons #167, Royal Oak, MI; Knights Templar #51, Mt. Clemens, MI; Moslem Shrine Center, Detroit, MI and Sahib Shrine Center , Sarasota, FL. He also belonged to the Provost Guard and the Gulf Shrine Club, both affiliated with Sahib Shrine Center. He was a member and usher of Christ United Methodist Church, Bradenton, FL.
Visitation Thursday 3 -9 pm, 7 pm Masonic service, with the funeral service Friday at 11 am at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights MI. Donations to: Shriners Hospital for Children, Tampa, Florida.
