Edward Schanbeck's Obituary
Edward James Schanbeck, age 97, of St. Clair Shores, and previously of Grosse Pointe Woods, passed away September 30, 2013. He was born September 8, 1916 to Fred and Lillian Schanbeck. Beloved husband of the late Edith (Elsie) 2009. He is survived by one niece and 3 nephew. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was in the banking industry and was Vice President of the Bank of Commerce. Visitation Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 4:00 pm to time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the HOPCROFT FUNERAL HOME, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. Burial Wednesday Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
