Edward Lee Ramsey, age 60 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on January 12, 2012 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center, Madison Heights, Michigan. He was born on October 5, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan.
Edward is survived by his wife, Maria Angeles. He is also survived by his daughters, Melinda (Doug) Ramsey, Alicia (Ahmed) Hashani and Andrea (Raid) Yousuf. He is pre deceased by a son, Edward Ramsey, Jr. Grandfather of Ana, Amy, Adrian, DeAndelo, Destiny, Demonte, Marisso, Devon, Anthony and Cerena. He is pre deceased by his grandson, Edward Ramsey, III. Son of Rosalind Widmeyer and the late Frederick W. Ramsey. He is survived by 4 sisters, 1 brother, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Rosary at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Funeral Monday 9:30 am Instate at Church, 10:00 am Mass at St. James Catholic Parish, Ferndale, Michigan.
