Edward "Ed" Cook's Obituary
Edward “Ed” Cook, age 79 of Hazel Park, Michigan, for 50 years, passed away on August 31, 2014 at the Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe, Michigan. He was born on October 12, 1934 in Providence, Rhode Island. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at his summer home in Port Austin and ridding his golf cart.
Husband of the late Maria Cook (1994). Father of Edward (Debra) Cook, Lucille Cook, Peter Cook, Martha Woodward, and Diana (Ted) Szczepaniak. Grandfather of 7 and Great-Grandfather of 6.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, Sept. 5th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the Funeral Service on Saturday, Sept. 6th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
