Edmund F. Giessl, age 94 of Troy, passed away on September 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Suzanne (2001) and the late Virginia (1953). Loving father of Kim (Gary) Belknap. Dearest grandfather of Brandon. He is predeceased by 1 brother and 4 sisters. He was a master brewer for the Stroh’s Brewery. Visitation Friday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm ay the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. The funeral will be held Saturday at St. Louise Church, Warren, with visitation starting at 10:00 am and continuing until the 10:30 am funeral mass. Burial in Cadillac East Memorial Cemetery. Donations can be made to the John Dingle Veterans Hospital, Detroit or the Humane Society.
