To The Marchesi Family,
I want to say, on behalf of the Kwapis Family, that we are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was, along with your whole family, a big part of our lives growing up on Herbert Street.
Your mother was a woman of many talents some of which she passed on to me. She taught me how to knit as part of a project with the Girl Scouts. I can still knit today many thanks to her. She also passed on some of her beautiful plants to me when I moved into my new house that was a little sparse. I am happy to say some 30 years later, those plants are still alive and doing well!
I know my mom enjoyed spending time with your mom, especially their many talks on the front porch. There was a lot of laughter, good times; and many, many stories shared on that porch.
We are thinking of all of you and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Jeannie Kwapis
