Douglas Lubin's Obituary
Douglas M. Lubin, age 88 passed away on July 22, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich. She was born on October 8, 1922 in Baxter, Tenn to Robert Douglas and Molly Elaine Sutton.
Douglas was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Altar Society. She served as Queen of the Madison Heights Red Hat Peaches Society. Douglas was a member of the Madison Heights Intermediate Club. She was also very active with the Madison Heights Senior Center.
Douglas was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward. Mother of Judith A. (the late Jack) Harkey, Janice S. (Fred) Brandt, Robert (Judy) LeChevalier and the late Rodney LeChevalier. Grandmother of 8. Also survived by Great grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Juanita Yuki, Charles Vickers, Shiela Henderson, William H. Vickers, Betty Tucker, James P. Vickers, Marlene Riley, the late Gwen Vickers and the late Margaret Gooch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, 9:30 am Instate followed by the 10:00 Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan. Memorial Donations may be made to the Madison Heights Senior Center.
