im very sorry and sad
My sincere condolences on losing Doug. I haven't seen him in quite a few years but, I remember him well. I am his cousin and I used to babysit Dougie and Jason when they were wee little. Doug loved them very much. I am sure he will be greatly missed. Please cherish all of the great times you had with him and just remember that he is in a good place, with a lot of loving family members which I am sure will be very happy to see him. I hope all of the family takes care during this sad time.
Your family is in our prayers. We hope your memories of Dougie help you get through this difficult time.
Pam, Candy and Dave I am so sorry for your loss. Doug or Dougie (as I always called him) was always alot of fun. Wish we all could have been closer over the last 10 or 15 years. But times change and lives happen. Still so sad when you realize you won't ever see someone again. Take care and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
CANDACE AND DAVID,
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT THE TWO OF YOU, AND THE REST OF FAMILY MUST BE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. I WAS SUCH A LITTLE GIRL WHEN WE LIVED IN THE SAME NEIGHBORHOOD AND OUR FATHERS WORKED TOGETHER, I HAVE A HARD TIME REMEMBERING THE BOYS AS INDIVIDUALS, BUT I DO KNOW THAT YOUR FAMILY MEANT THE WORLD TO OURS AND TIMES SPENT TOGETHER WERE ALWAYS FUN.
MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU ALL. GOD BLESS SANDY
I send my deepest sympathies to the family of Doug Cory. Probably only Candy remembers me, I was one of Doug’s childhood neighbors and good friend, Doug lived across the street and was the same age as I , although time and life have separated us I have the fondest memories of Doug and our time growing up on St. Paul. Between the Cory’s, Ratel’s and Dluge’s there was quite the gang of kids on that street. We spent countless hours building tree or underground forts, shooting archery, building push carts, or watching Dan rebuild old cars, but one of the real highlights was when the Cory’s got a horse! Actually I think it was a pony, Doug would give us rides on it, and he loved and cared for it greatly. Other fond memories are spending hours discussing whether it was “Kooler” to be a Greaser or a Soc, being kool was important to 14 year old boys. I pray God will have your loss not hurt to deeply, and your good memories last forever.
Dear Family, I am so sorry. My prayer are with you all. love Sara (Paulus) Crawford
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this sorrowful time. Love, Jan and Steve
Candy and Pam I'm so very sorry for your loss..my heart goes out to the both of you. My prayers will be with you...Tracy and Family
I'm so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Although I have not seen him since around high school it was back then that I secretly had a crush on him. It's a shame to lose someone from the old neighborhood so young. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by his family (which I am surprised is so large!) My condolences to all who loved him and will miss him.
