Dorothy Marie Searcy, age 88, a longtime Hazel Park resident passed away April 25, 2018. She was born on December 19, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Marjorie Sturgess.
Beloved Wife of the late Boss Searcy. Dear Mother of Michael (the late Lucy) and Margie (Douglas) Nabozny. Loving Grandmother of Jessica Drew and Jared Nabozny. Loving GiGi of 6.
She was a former council woman in Hazel Park and retired from the Hazel Park School District.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service to be held on Friday, April 27th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
