Doris Potter's Obituary
Doris Eleanor (Carrick) Potter of Troy, passed away September 9, 2014. She was 87 years young, born November 22, 1926 in Detroit, Ml to the late John Henry Wilson and Lillian Elizabeth Carrick.
Beloved wife of the late Glenn V. Potter. Loving mother of David Potter and Gail (Jeffrey) Miller. Preceded in death by her babies, Kathleen and Colleen and her son Glenn Dell Potter. Dear grandmother of Brandy Potter, Riley and Travis Miller.
One of nine siblings: surviving, Warner (the late Janet) Carrick, Kenneth (Kathy) Carrick; preceded in death: the late Amelia (Edward) Szczupan, the late Vera (Edward) Bruss, the late Shirley (Kenneth) Legeret, the late Lillian May (Charles) McArthur, the late Alzore (surviving Annette) Carrick and the late Donald (surviving Judy) Carrick. Sister-in-law to Donna (Edward) Wrask, the late Jean (Joseph) Bryzelak, and the late Fay (Joseph) Struzick.
Known as Auntie Dori and Auntie DoeDoe to her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 20th, 1:00 p.m. at Big Beaver Methodist Church, 3753 John R. Road, Troy, MI 48083. (248) 689-1932. www.bbumchurch.org.
