Dolores Antushevich, age 98, passed away on November 18, 2022. She was born on March 20, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to Martha and Andrew Skorupski.
Dolores late husband, Mike, passed away April 20, 1991. They were married November 6, 1943. Dolores was predeceased in death by sisters Virginia Brady and Eleanor Reneski and brothers, Gilbert and Nibby.
Beloved mother of Michael (Patricia) Antushevich and John (Patricia) Antushevich. Dear grandmother of Debra (David) Halsey, Kimberly (Matthew) Roman, Michael (Cheryl) Antushevich, and Kelly (Michael) Tencza. Great grandmother of Michael Halsey, Madeline (Harrison) Moon, Max Roman, Ben Roman, Noel (Nathan) Wright, Michael (Stephanie) Antushevich, Troy (Katie) Antushevich, Gavin Tencza, Reagan Tencza and Caiden Tencza. Great-great grandmother of Phipps Wright and Harrison Wright. Dolores was “Aunt Dolly” to her many nieces and nephews.
She was a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone, a sales person for Hudson’s Department Store and a machine operator for threading Industries. She was a great cook and enjoyed making many Polish dishes for her family.
Dolores will be Instate at 9:00 am with Mass at 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Parish located at 35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310. The family is requesting no flowers at the church and that your prayers or your presence at the service for Dolores will forever be appreciated by them..
