VAILLANCOURT, DENISE MARIE. age 53, of Sterling Heights, Died August 30, 2010 in Detroit. She was born March 10, 1957 in Pontiac. Loving Mother of James (Nicole) Carden III and Danielle (Eric Arm) Carden. Grandmother of Emma. Daughter of Lorne Vallancourt and the late Marie Vaillancourt. Step daughter of Carol Vaillancourt. Sister of Donna (Duane) Elkins, Terri (Chuck) Damman, Steven (Susan) Vaillancourt, and Andrea (Chris) Passmore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She lived for her family, especially her grand daughter and enjoyed making jewelry and crafts. Visitation will be Wednesday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Rd. , Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, with visitation from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10:00. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to her grand daughters education fund are suggested.
