DELBERT “DEL” BURTCH, age 84, of Hazel Park, died October 27, 2009, at Henry Ford Hospital Warren Campus. He was born March 27, 1925, in Windsor, Ontario. A U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, he was a Tool & Die Leader. He was a member of Hazel Park Eagles Aerie #2449, and an avid card player. Surviving are his wife Eileen; 7 children; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers David (Barbara) Burtch and the late William Burtch. Visitation Thursday 6-9 PM and Friday 2-9 PM with funeral Saturday 11:00 AM, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, with Pastor James Thompson officiating. Burial in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
