Deborah Lynn Lienard's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Lienard ( Harris) was called home to our Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:35pm. She was surrounded by her three loving children, Corey, Nick, and Maegen, her son-in-law John, grandson Aeden, nieces Stacy and Nicole, friend Bridgette Allen, and lifelong bestie Shelia Bajkowski by her side, praying and singing hymns until her last breath.
Deborah, best known by her friends as Debbi was born at Saratoga Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on July 6, 1953 to her late parents Edgar and Elfreda Harris. She has joined her four siblings that have preceded her in death, Dr. Robert Dean Harris, Joe Neal Harris, Thomas Edd Harris and Wanda Joyce Harris.
As a loving devoted mother, Debbi is survived by her three children: daughter; Corey Lynn Lydick, son-in-law; John Lydick, son; Nicholas John Lienard, daughter; Maegen Elizabeth Lienard. Proud Nana to grandson; Aeden Blaise Lienard-Meerschaert, granddaughter; Emma Lynn Lydick, and grandson; Quintin Harris Lienard. A loving one of a kind aunt to many many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by life-long friends that are such an important part of her life, Sheila Bajkowski, Marrion “Nikki” Phillips, Joanne Halpin Matter and Patricia Spangler.
Debbi went to Bella and Rudolph School of Cosmetology and graduated in 1968. She attended Madison High School and graduated in 1971.
Debbi was a wonderful homemaker whose main joy in life was to nurture her family and friends. Then in 1993 she went back to being a hairdresser and opened her own beauty shop in downtown Royal Oak for 25 years. She really loved that job, her beauty Salon Barton Towers. She supported herself and her three children and at times their children and many times other’s children.
She never met a stranger and would do anything to help anyone, anywhere and under any circumstances! Her natural talents are always looking for the good in others, her unconditional love, her devotion to Christ Jesus, her kindness, her sense of humor, and her singing! Last but not least her delicious cooking abilities. She was a one of a kind woman, and this world was a little brighter because she was in it.
Visitation and service will be held at Hopcroft Funeral Home, (located on the corners of John R Rd and Thirteen Mile Rd. in Madison Heights MI) on Sunday September 24, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
