Deane Crosthwaite's Obituary
Deane R. Crosthwaite, age 84 of Hazel Park, died May 23, 2010. He was born February 23, 1926 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He served in WWII on a US Navy underwater demolition team. He retired from Chrysler Motors design after 42 years service and loved square dancing. He is survived by his children; Kim (Glenna Tomalak) Crosthwaite, Jill A. (Richard) Robbins, Nancy Mitchell and Sandra (Mason) Young, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his sister Sue Smotherland and brother Larry Crosthwaite. He was predeceased by his wife Elaine in 2006. Visitation Wednesday 5-9 pm, Thursday 2-9 pm, and the funeral Friday at 11 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Rd., Madison Heights. Burial in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, are recommended.
