David Isaac Borovoy's Obituary
David Isaac Borovoy, age 54 of Southfield, Michigan passed away on October 11, 2024 at Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Southfield, Michigan. He was born on June 20, 1970 in Okinawa, Japan.
Dear Son of Marion Cady and the late Arthur Borovoy. Brother of Tammy (David) Harrison and Leika (Jason) Valuet. Uncle of Emma Harrison, Katie Harrison, Damien Valuet, Chase Valuet, Sierra Valuet and Maisy Valuet. Beloved Soulmate of Cara Carlson.
David was a legendary salesman in the Drum Department and Pro Audio at Guitar Center in Southfield for over 25 years. He had a large clientele with many becoming his friends. David loved fast cars, guns, hanging out with friends and especially playing the drums. He was a “one of a kind” friend. He was always there whenever anyone needed him. He was loved by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service at 6:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery, (12 Mile and Woodward), Berkley, Michigan on Saturday, October 26th at 2:00 pm.
