Darlene Suzanne St. Charles' Obituary
Darlene Suzanne St Charles, age 69, a resident of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2022 at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy, MI. She was born on November 23, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan and cherished by her parents, Eugene and Ruth Kuhn. Darlene graduated from South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores in 1970.
Darlene married her loving husband, Mark on April 23, 1982. Survived by husband, Mark St. Charles, son Erik (Chelli) St. Charles, Granddaughter Alexis St. Charles. Sister Diane (Larry) Lees. Brothers-in Law Chris (Cheryl) St. Charles, David (Paula) St. Charles, and Joseph Brady Jr. Aunt Lynne Fetty. Also, many loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Predeceased by Mother, Ruth Kuhn, Father, Eugene Kuhn, Mother-in-Law Norma St. Charles, Father-in-Law Hazen St. Charles, Sister-in-Law Sydney Brady, Brother-in-Law Matthew St. Charles, Uncle George Fetty and Nephew, Larry Lees Jr.
Darlene had a deep love for her family and friends and was known for her kindness, generosity, and selflessness. She spent her life devoted to her family and always put the needs of them before her own. She also regarded her dear friend Harriet as a close confidant whose friendship she cherished and maintained over decades.
One of Darlene’s greatest joys later in life was the birth of her beautiful granddaughter, Alexis whom she shared a special bond with.
Darlene enjoyed her precious four-legged sweet dog, Bella. She enjoyed spending time up north, gardening, family holiday get togethers but shopping was her true passion. She could score deals any day of the week, and the more money she saved, the bigger her smile.
Darlene worked for the City of Birmingham is the Assessing Department and eventually transferred to the Police Department which she enjoyed immensely until her retirement in 2021.
Darlene will be missed dearly by her family and friends who knew & loved her.
