Darlene Ann Abad, age 79 of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on July 9, 2026 at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital, Troy, Michigan. She was born on May 5, 1947 in Dearborn, Michigan to Joseph and Genevieve Gasiorek.
Beloved wife of Robert Abad. Dear mother of Darryl A. Nickel, Cassandra Nickel, Brian (Yulia) Abad, and David Abad. Cherished grandmother of Sara Nickel, Hannah Abad, Katlyn Abad, and Anna Abad. Darlene is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie Nickel-Whitworth, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 14th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Entombment will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
