Daniel Scott Riley's Obituary
Daniel Scott Riley, formally from Hazel Park and Warren, Michigan, passed away at the age of 58 on September 19, 2021 at his home in Aurora, Colorado. He was born December 20, 1962 to JoAnn and the late Ted Riley.
Dan is survived by his wife Sharon (Thomas) of 35 years and his children Megan (Sam) Faraj and Scott Riley. He is also survived by his sister Debra (Gerry) Sheppard, brother Donald Riley, and his mother JoAnn Riley.
Dan loved spending time with his family and friends, was an avid Detroit sports fan and spent most of his life serving the Lord at Tabernacle Baptist Church. After relocating to Colorado, he continued to be an active member at Airport Blvd Baptist Church in Aurora, CO. He enjoyed golfing, running and skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Dan’s love of his Lord and faith in Christ was foremost in everything he did and was shared with everyone he came in contact with.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church (22323 S. Chrysler Dr., Hazel Park, MI 48030). There will be a visitation hour at 10:00 am prior to the service.
