Daniel F. Murray, age 73, of Troy, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away May 4, 2017. He was born December 29, 1943 in Detroit.
Beloved husband of Sue for 30 years. Dear father of Daniel J. (Tia) Murray, Kimberly Considine, Suzanne (Richard) Schlacht and Jeanne Pioro. Stepfather of Casey Ward, Art (Deb) Ward and Angela (David) Benner. Grandfather of 11 and one great granddaughter. Brother of Robert Murray and Margaret Overton.
He was president of D.F. Murray Inspections, past president of Metropolitan Mechanical Inspectors Association, past president PIAM, past president Tri-County Plumbing Association and past president ASSE. Dan was a member of Oakland County Building Officials and Inspectors Association and past member of Local 98.
