I have known the Potter family for about 23 years. Dan Jr. And his wife Jill Have become a close friends in that time. Dan has been calling on me and the company I work for for that time. Dan was very close with his dad and often spoke of him. I know Dan’s love for the outdoors which became his passion and livelihood was sparked and instilled by his dad. I had the pleasure of meeting and hunting with Dan sr. on a few occasions. I was impressed by his smile, his love for the outdoors. His love of people, his wisdom and zeal for life. It has been wonderful to see through my friend Dan the love and admiration he had for his father and had for his entire family. His father instilled that too. I know my friend and his family are hurting for the loss of their beloved patriarch, but he is not in pain. May the love you have for each other the Legacy your dad has left and the grace and peace of Christ sustain you. I hope their is some joy today also as you celebrate the life of a great man who has left a piece of himself with you all.
