Father of Kenneth C. Schafer of Rochester Hills, Rosalee A. Schafer of Troy, Robert C. Schafer of Rochester Hills, and Tyler W. Schafer. Brother of Robert Schafer and Laura Schafer (deceased).
He was a Jack of all trades. A teacher of great music and a generous man who could never say no to someone in need. His two little boys Al and Stan were always on his mind.
