Clyde Edgar Jenkins, age 89 of Hazel Park, Mich. He passed away on July 11, 2011 in Southfield, Mich. Clyde was born on November 4, 1921 in Macon County, North Carolina.
Clyde retired after 27 years of service as a custodian for the Hazel Park Schools. He served in the U. S. Navy.
He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Merclene Jenkins.
Dear father of Dianne (Jim) Spitzer, Clyde (Nancy) Jenkins, Jr., Brian (Jackie) Jenkins, Wayne Jenkins, Linda Jenkins and Virginia Sizemore. Grandfather of 17, Great-Grandfather of 21, and Great-Great-Grandfather of 3. Brother of Bonnie Bowman and Mae Gibson.
Visitation Thursday 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Mich. Burial at Riverview Methodist Cemetery, Macon County, North Carolina.
