Charles Monroe Shaw, age 75 of Ferndale, died Saturday, September 3, 2011, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born June 9, 1936 in Homer City, Pennsylvania. Beloved husband of the late Bonnie. Dear father of Stacey (Eugene) Barger and Brian (Becky) Shaw. Loving grandfather of Darrik, Chelsey and Tyler and great-grandfather of Alyssa, Ryan and Nathan. Brother of Ernie, Edith, Ruth and Joyce. Memorial gathering Wednesday, Sept. 7, 4:30 PM, with service time pending, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights.
