Catherine Mae Winfree, age 89 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away August 30, 2015. She was born April 3, 1926 in Royal Oak, Michigan
Beloved wife of the late Cecil (2011), they were married on Oct. 15, 1946. Beloved mother of Debbie Muraszewski, Cathy (Richard) Bergen and Lou Ann (Bill) James and a special niece, Terry Smith. Grandmother of Scott (Michelle), Frank (Stacy), J.C., Bill (Jamie), Mindy (Eric), Chaz (Sue), Amanda (Jed) and Jeremiah (Diana). Great-Grandmother of Kendre, Karrah, Marley, Caleb, Ethan, Siene, Gavin, Hailey, Nicholas, Brody, Bailee, Aiden, Brady and Madison. Pre-deceased by a daughter, Edith Hurt in 2009 and a son-in-law, Herb Hurt.
Catherine has been an organist at church for many years.
Visitation Wednesday, September 2nd from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Funeral Thursday, September 3rd at 10:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
