I was shocked and stunned to hear of her passing as I no longer live in Michigan so it took that sad news a long time to get to me.
What a wonderful person she was and am thankful to have known her at all!
Carrie had a heart as big as a mountain and was always willing to lend a hand if you needed it.
She had a quote that she truly lived from Einstein on her refrigerator that I had never seen before but never forgot: “What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right.” .
Her insights and sense of what was the right was incredibly well balanced, I am lucky to have known her and Bill all those years.
She left us much too soon as you could never get enough of her laughter, good nature and common sense that she so humbly and freely shared with all.
Truly a genuinely good person who will always have a place in my heart and the hearts of those people who came through her life.
You were truly touched by an Angel to have known her at all.
