Caroline Hunacek, age 91 of Ferndale, Michigan passed away on February 22, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 22, 1924 to Frederick and Anna Offerman in Connecticut.
Beloved Wife of Adolph Hunacek for 70 years. Dear Mother of Doris Hunacek, Marie (Rick) Ferguson, and Robert (Tamela) Hunacek. Loving Grandmother of Nikki (Allen) Walker, Jonathon Hunacek, Jeremy Hunacek, Sam Midkiff, Glenn Midkiff and Dale Midkiff. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Caroline served in the Navy during World War II.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Friday, February 26th with Instate at 10:00 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, Michigan. Fr. Robert Williams will officiate both the Rosary and Funeral Mass.
Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
In Lieu of Flowers, family would appreciate donations to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or St. Mary Magdalen St. Vincent de Paul Society.
