I had the opportunity to spend alot of time with the legend Carl over a several year period and got to know him well. I learned that Carl was a hard worker, dedicated and took pride in a job well done. His conscientiousness and perseverance through any task that was presented to him was always evident. I learned that he was so very proud and so in love with his children Donna, John and Gary and his grandchildren. I learned that he was a good listener and had lots of empathy. When you felt sad, Carl was sad. If you were hurt or slighted Carl wanted to help set things straight. He was very kind and was so appreciative of any kindness bestowed on to him. He was humble and loyal and I knew I could count on him for a kind word, a pep talk, encouragement. I dont recall ever seeing him really angry or losing his calm and he was a pleasure to be around. He was generous and always shared whatever he had. Carl had a great sense of humor and loved to make people and himself laugh. And what a laugh he had!! The best ever, and I will never forget it. Ours was a unique relationship but one of the best Ive had my life. He was such a good man! I've been missing you Carl, I'll miss you always.
