MOBLEY, CARL, age 87 of Hazel Park for 45 years, died January 29, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (2006), after 61 years of marriage. Loving father of Donald (Nancy) Mobley, Carla (Jim) Goodwin and the late James Mobley. Proud grandfather of James Mobley, Jason (Christine) Mobly, James (Becky) Goodwin, and Kathryn Goodwin. Great Grandfather of Abigail Mobley, Stephen Goodwin, and Patrick Goodwin. He is also predeceased by his brother Willard. Carl graduated from the Flint School of the Deaf, and was retired from GTE(MODCO)where he worked 30 years. He was an inductee in the "Deaf Softball Hall of Fame" and two times MDGA Champion. Visitation Saturday 2-9 pm , with the funeral service at 7 pm, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R Rd, Hazel Park.
