Calvin Fisher's Obituary
Calvin Michael Fisher, age 61 of Hazel Park. He passed away on April 15, 2009 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital - Oakland Center, Madison Heights, MI. He was born on January 25, 1948 in Hazel Park, MI to Calvin Edward and Dolores Ellen Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was employed by the Hazel Park School system in the maintenance area. He retired in 2001. He loved his “up north” home in Rapid River in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and enjoyed fishing.
He is the loving husband of Anora Lee (nee Sohlin) Fisher. Father of Jim (Debi) Fisher, Jeffrey Fisher, and Jenny (Tony) Rogensues. Grandfather of Madysen and Alyssa Fisher, and Ellie Rogensues.Brother of Major Edward Jess Fisher. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights, MI. Funeral Service on Monday 10:00 am Instate at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, 29860 Dequindre, Warren, MI followed by the 11:00 am Service.
