Brian A. Thrasher's Obituary
Brian A. Thrasher, age 58 of Warren, Michigan passed away on January 13, 2026 at Henry Ford Madison Heights Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1967 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Teddy Thrasher and Cheryl Hanes. He is survived by his step-mother, Anna Thrasher and his step-father, Calvin Hanes. He is survived by his life long friend Melissa Rowe and her family including Mckenzie Rowe (daughter) and Colby Bartal (grandson) who held a very special place in his heart. Brother of Steve (Sharon) Thrasher and Amy Barron, 4 nieces and nephews, and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He worked for AGS Automotive in Sterling Heights, Michigan for 12 years as a Hi-Lo driver. He was very proud of his work ethic. Brian’s early years were filled with a passion for sports. He played both baseball and football during high school and remained an avid sports enthusiast throughout his life. Baseball held a special place in his heart, and he followed the game with unwavering enthusiasm. He enjoyed reading and listening to Rock music, like Ozzie Osborne, ACDC, Journey and doing anything outdoors.
Those that knew Brian remember him as selfless and loving. His most cherished role was being “Papa” to Colby. The bond they shared brought Brian immense joy and he treasured every moment that they spent together
