Brian Edward Deman's Obituary
Brian E. Deman, Devoted Father and a Beloved Husband.
Brian Edward Deman, age 64, died Friday, October 27, 2023 at his Troy home with his family by his side.
Brian was born on September 22, 1959 to Viola and Henry Deman. Brian spent the first part of his life making memories with his family in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. He had a large loving family that consisted of Barbara, Beverly, Kenneth, Gary and Sharon.
Brian graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 1977 and went on to study Engineering at Wayne State University. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later in life went on to get a Masters Degree. Brian met Mary Hopcroft in 1992 and they got married in July of 1994. Brian and Mary had 3 children together, Kevin, Jennifer and David. Brian was a present and devoted father until his passing.
Brian was known to not miss any family events for the world. Just before his passing he was bringing up Christmas, already getting excited to spend time with the family all together. The holiday season was his favorite time of the year. He was always looking forward to celebrating family traditions and spending time with loved ones. There wasn’t a time that Brian wouldn’t lend a helping hand. You could always count on Brian to respond to any request.
Brian will always be remembered by his big smile and the way he always put others before himself.
He is survived by his spouse Mary (nee Hopcroft) of Troy, Michigan, his sons Kevin and David and his daughter Jennifer. He is also survived by his mother Viola, brother Gary (Debbie), sisters Barbara (the late Eric) and Sharon (Dick) and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Pre-deceased by his father Henry, sister Beverly and brother Kenneth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1st from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 2nd beginning with Instate at 10:00 am followed by the 11:00 am Service at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 17017 E. 12 Mile Road, Roseville, Michigan. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan.
