Bobbie Nell George's Obituary
Bobbie Nell (Drinkard) George of Warren died peacefully on Friday, October 30th. She was born March 8, 1941, in Murray, Kentucky to her late parents George “Branch” Drinkard and Virginia “Nadine” Swift.
Bobbie was a homemaker, Cub Scouts Den mother, teacher’s aide and after college, she worked 25-years as a Timekeeper for Chrysler Corporation. She was a people person and enjoyed making people smile and laugh around her. Bobbie loved shopping, travel, dining out with her Spanish coffee, and visiting with friends and family.
Bobbie is survived by her two children Kevin Harvey and Kelli Harvey, two grandchildren Brandon Harvey and Alicia (Jonathan) McHugh, four great-grandchildren: Ashton, Hailey, Lilly and Talia, six siblings Marilyn Drinkard, Jerry Drinkard, Judy Schmidt, Ron Drinkard, Troy Steven (Cathy) Drinkard, and David Drinkard. She will be remembered by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends near or far.
Bobbie was preceded in her death by her husband Tom and her brother Danny.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 starting at 11:00 am until the time of service at 3:00 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, MI.
